
How To Make Italian Hot Chocolate
This Italian hot chocolate is a mug full of creamy, thick goodness. Made with real chocolate and milk, perfect for comfort food in a glass.

Ingredients
- 3½ oz dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2½ tbsp cocoa, unsweetened
- 1 cup milk, plus 1 tbsp (2% or whole milk/divided)
- 1 tsp corn starch
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine ¼ cup of milk and the cornstarch until smooth. Then set it aside.
- Sift the cocoa into a medium bowl then add the sugar into it and mix well. Then set it aside as well.
- In a separate pot, heat up ¾ cup + 1 tablespoon of milk and bring it up to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and start whisking. Then stir in the milk and cornstarch mixture.
- Then incorporate the cocoa mixture slowly while mixing continuously until smooth. Then add the chopped chocolate and whisk for another 3 minutes.
- Serve while still hot.
