How To Make Homemade Honey Butter

Level up your toasts and scones with this smooth and creamy honey butter spread! It’s made with just four ingredients, and ready in 5 minutes.

  • 1cupunsalted butter,softened to room temperature
  • cuphoney
  • 3tbspconfectioners’ sugar
  • ¼tspsea salt


  1. In a large bowl using a hand-held mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter for 1 minute on medium speed until completely smooth and creamy.

  2. Beat in the honey, sugar, and sea salt, starting with only ¼ teaspoon of salt. Beat on medium speed until completely smooth.

  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed. Taste, and add more salt, if desired.

  4. Serve with a drizzle of honey and/or a sprinkle of sea salt over toasts, and enjoy!
