
How To Make Homemade Apple Butter
Seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, this homemade apple butter is guaranteed to make your toasts sweeter and mornings better.

Ingredients
- 3lbssweet apples,fuji, braeburn, red delicious, golden delicious, etc
- â…”cuplight brown sugar,packed
- ½cupgranulated sugar
- 2½tspground cinnamon
- ¾tspground nutmeg
- ½tspallspice
- ½tspground cloves
- 1tbsplemon juice
- ¾cupapple juice,or cider
Instructions

Peel, core, and chop apples.

Add all ingredients to a large dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot. Stir well, then heat over medium heat for about 20 minutes until apples are soft.

Use an immersion blender to puree the mixture. Alternatively, transfer the mixture to a regular blender and puree, then pour back into the same pot.

Cook over low heat for approximately 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent spattering, until apple butter has thickened to desired consistency.

Cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Apple butter can be frozen as well.
