Ingredients
- 4 grapefruits

- 1 lemon
- 1 cup of water
Instructions
-
Wash the grapefruits and lemon well. Cut the grapefruits in half and squeeze out the juice. Remove any seeds and set the juice aside.
-
Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the grapefruit peels into strips. Remove any excess pith.
-
In a large pot, combine the grapefruit juice, sliced peels, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Stir well to combine.
-
Place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
-
After an hour, the marmalade should have thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
-
Transfer the marmalade into clean jars and let it cool completely before refrigerating.
-
Enjoy the grapefruit marmalade on toast, scones, or use it as a glaze for meats.
