How To Make Easy Berry Chia Seed Jam
Whip up a delicious chia seed jam packed with the nutritious flavors of blueberries and raspberries! Serve these over bread, scones, oatmeal, and more.

Ingredients
- 12ozfrozen raspberries,around 2 ½ cups, preferably organic
- 12ozfrozen blueberries,around 2 ¼ cups, preferably organic or wild
- ¼cupchia seeds
- 2tbsporange juice,about ½ medium orange, juiced
- 4tbspmaple syrup,to taste, optional
Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the frozen raspberries and blueberries, chia seeds, and orange juice.

Cover and let the mixture defrost for 3 hours at room temperature, or overnight in the refrigerator.

Once the berries are defrosted and soft, use a potato masher or the back of a big spoon to mash up the mixture to the desired consistency.

Taste, and if a sweeter jam is preferred, stir in some maple syrup, to taste.

If the chia seeds aren’t plump yet, let the mixture rest for 20 minutes to let them absorb more moisture.

Serve on toast, and enjoy!
