How To Make Chocolate Tahini Spread

Amp up your morning toast with this chocolate tahini spread, filled with nutty undertones and naturally sweetened with honey, for a tastier spread!

  • 2ozdark chocolate,chopped
  • ¼cupextra-virgin olive oil
  • cuptahini
  • tbsphoney
  • ½tspground cinnamon


  1. Place the chocolate and olive oil on the top of a double boiler over simmering water.

  2. Stir frequently, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching, for about 5 minutes, until the chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Combine the tahini, honey, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth and well combined.

  4. Refrigerate the spread for about 15 minutes until set and spreadable.

  5. Serve over toast or scones, and enjoy!
