How To Make Skinny Rice Krispies Treats

3 ingredients are all you need to make these low-fat rice krispies treats. Light butter, Rice Krispies, and marshmallows make a guilt-free sweet tooth dish.

  • 2tbsplight butter spread
  • 4cupsmini marshmallows,or 10 oz
  • 6cupsRice Krispies
  • cooking spray


  1. Spray a 9×12-inch pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  2. Heat a large saucepan on low heat.

  3. Melt butter spread being sure to coat the bottom of the pot to prevent sticking.

  4. Add marshmallows and melt on low flame.

  5. Stir until completely melted, then remove from heat.

  6. Add Rice Krispies to the melted marshmallows, and stir until completely combined.

  7. Press into the buttered pan with wax paper and cut them into 16 pieces.
