A classic fried appetizer that’s never turned down. Great for replicating that “sports bar” atmosphere in your own home. Serve it up during game day or when you have friends over for snacks.

How To Make Onion Rings

  • 2 cups Spanish onion / Bermuda Onion
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  1. Cut large Spanish onion or Bermuda onion crosswise into 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick slices. Separate into rings.

  2. Dry onion rings and coat with flour. Make batter using baking powder, egg, salt, and milk.

  3. Dip onions into batter letting excess drip off and fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
