How To Make Seed Crusted Tofu Recipe

This vegan and gluten-free dish has a crispy exterior and a tender interior, making it a healthy substitute for meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, sliced into 8 rectangles
  • 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup of sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp of flax seeds
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.

  2. Coat the tofu slices with flour.

  3. Dip the flour-coated tofu into the seed mixture, pressing firmly to coat the tofu evenly on both sides.

  4. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  5. Place the seed-coated tofu in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
