How To Make Flax Seed and Chia Seed Jam Recipe

A healthy and easy-to-make jam packed with omega-3s, fiber, and antioxidants from flax and chia seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Heat the berries in a small pot over medium heat until thawed and soft, about 5 minutes.

  2. Mash the berries with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency is reached.

  3. Add chia seeds, flax seeds, and honey, stir to combine.

  4. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before serving.
