Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets, blanched, drained, and chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup bacon, chopped
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- vegetable oil , roughly 5 to 8 cups, for frying
To serve:
- tomato ketchup, or any dipping sauce of your choice

- In a mixing bowl, beat together the egg and milk then set aside.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Make a well at the center of the flour mixture, then pour your liquids. Fold until evenly incorporated.
