Ingredients

  • 2 cups of strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup of vodka
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, vodka, sugar, vanilla bean, and cinnamon stick.

  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

  5. Once cooled, remove the vanilla bean and cinnamon stick.

  6. In a separate saucepan, heat the water until simmering.

  7. Add the coffee mixture to the simmering water and stir until well combined.

  8. Remove from heat and let cool.

  9. Transfer the coffee liqueur to a bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator.
