How To Make Penicillin Cocktail
This penicillin cocktail makes the perfect cure-all glass! It’s a scotch-based cocktail packed with sweet honey and ginger for a lip-smacking drink.

Ingredients
For Honey-Ginger Syrup:
- ½cuphoney
- ½cupwater
- 1ginger root,(3-inch piece), peeled and sliced
For Penicillin Cocktail:
- 2ozblended Scotch
- ¾ozlemon juice,fresh squeezed
- ice
- ¼ozIslay Scotch
- candied ginger,or lemon peel for garnish, optional
Instructions

Add the honey, water, and ginger root to a pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then allow the syrup to cool. Strain and store in the fridge.

Pour the blended Scotch, lemon juice, and honey-ginger syrup into a shaker. Add the ice, shake, and strain into a rocks glass with ice.

Float the Islay scotch on top by pouring it gently over the back of a spoon.

Garnish with candied ginger, lemon peel, or both. Enjoy!
