How To Make Jalapeno Popper Chicken

This jalapeno popper chicken made with chicken breasts and topped with a flavorful and cheesy jalapeno popper topping is scrumptious and easy to make!

Total: 45 minutes



  • 4chicken breasts,boneless, skinless
  • 4tbspfresh jalapeno peppers,diced, add more if desired
  • 4slicesbacon,cooked crisp, crumbled
  • 4tbspcream cheese
  • 2ozsharp cheddar,grated
  • 1egg,beaten
  • 1tbspflour
  • 1cupPanko breadcrumbs
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • ½tsppaprika


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Combine the diced jalapeno peppers, crumbled bacon, cream cheese, and grated cheddar in a small bowl.

  3. In a second bowl, combine the Panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. Beat the flour with egg. Dip the chicken into the beaten egg and then into Panko bread crumbs. Place on a foil lined pan sprayed with cooking spray.

  5. Divide the jalapeno topping into 4 equal servings and press on the top of each chicken breast.

  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the juices run clear, and the chicken is cooked through.
