How To Make Wassail (Warm Autumn Punch)

This warm autumn punch is the perfect drink for chilly days. The seasonal spices complement the orange, pineapple, and apple flavors nicely.

Ingredients

  • 8cupsapple cider
  • 3cupsorange juice
  • 46ozpineapple juice
  • 2tbsphoneyoptional, or to taste
  • 2cinnamon sticks3-inch
  • 2tspcloves

Instructions

  1. In a large pot (at least 6 quarts or larger) whisk together apple cider, pineapple juice, orange juice and honey. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

  3. Strain and serve warm. Garnish if desired.
