Ingredients
For Salad:
- 5ozmixed greens
- 2largeruby-red grapefruitsor oranges or mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1largeavocadoripe, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1handfulfresh basil leavesroughly chopped
- 1handfulfresh mint leavesroughly chopped
- ½mediumred onionthinly sliced
- ½cupalmondssliced or slivered, toasted
- sesame seedstoasted, optional topping
For Vinaigrette:
- 2tbspavocado oilor olive oil, or any other mild-flavored oil
- 1tbsplow-sodium soy sauce
- 1tbsprice vinegar
- 2tspmaple syrupor honey
- ½tspsesame oiltoasted
- ¼tspground ginger
- ¼tspgarlic powder
- sea salt and freshly-cracked black pepperto taste
Instructions
Vinaigrette:

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl (or shake together in a mason jar) until combined.Â

Taste and add additional sweetener if desired. Use immediately or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
Salad:

Combine all ingredients in a large salad bowl, drizzle evenly with the vinaigrette, and toss until evenly combined.Â
