How To Make Crispy Air Fryer Shrimp

This crunchy air fryer shrimp is a superb dish that is low on cholesterol, but packed with savory and tangy flavors! Whip up a serving in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • ¼cupflour
  • tsplemon pepper seasoning
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • ½tspsalt,or to taste
  • cupseasoned bread crumbs
  • cuppanko bread crumbs
  • 2large eggs,beaten
  • ¾lblarge shrimp,with tails, peeled, deveined
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour and half of the seasonings in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs and remaining seasonings.

  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.

  3. Toss the shrimp in the flour mixture. Remove a shrimp from the flour mixture and dip it in the egg and then into the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat with the remaining shrimp.

  4. Lightly spray the shrimp with cooking spray. Add a single layer of shrimp to the air fryer basket.

  5. Cook 4 minutes. Flip the shrimp over, spritz with cooking spray, and cook for an additional 4 minutes or just until cooked through and crispy. Repeat with remaining shrimp.

  6. Serve with cocktail sauce, and enjoy!
