How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Kiev Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Mix well.

  2. Slice a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through. Stuff each pocket with 2 tablespoons of the garlic herb butter.

  3. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  4. Dip each stuffed chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs firmly onto the chicken to ensure they stick.

  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

  6. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray the tops with cooking spray.

  7. Cook for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy.

  8. Serve the Air Fryer Chicken Kiev hot, sliced if desired.
