How To Make Air Fryer Salmon

This flaky air fryer salmon is made flavorful with sweet brown sugar and tangy lemon pepper for a tasty, melt-in-your-mouth meal!

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 8 minutes
Total: 13 minutes



  • 2salmon filets,(6 oz each)
  • 2tspolive oil
  • 2tspbrown sugar
  • tspgarlic powder
  • ¼tsplemon pepper seasoning
  • salt and pepper,to taste
  • 1lemon,plus extra for serving


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.

  2. Brush the salmon with olive oil.

  3. Combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then rub them over the salmon filets.

  4. Place the lemon slices in the air fryer, then place the salmon on top.

  5. Cook for 6 to 9 minutes or just until cooked through. Do not overcook.

  6. Serve warm, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • Thinner salmon filets may only need 6 to 7 minutes while thicker filets may need 9 to 11 minutes.
  • Place the thermometer in the thickest part of the salmon and remove when the internal temp is 145 degrees F.
