Ingredients

  • 6ozraspberries
  • 4ozstrawberries
  • 5ozwhole cherries,pitted
  • 3½tspfresh lemon juice
  • ½cupsugar
  • 16ozblueberries
  • 8cupsvanilla ice cream
  • ½cupwhole milk
  • 1¼tsppure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine raspberries, strawberries, cherries, 1½ teaspoons of lemon juice, and ¼ cup of sugar in a small saucepan

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 10 minutes until berries release their juices.

  3. Transfer to a bowl, and refrigerate until cold.

  4. Combine remaining lemon juice and sugar with 2 cups blueberries in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about about 10 minutes until berries release their juices.

  5. Transfer to a bowl. Let cool completely. Stir in the remaining blueberries, cover, and refrigerate until cold.

  6. Whisk ice cream, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Spoon ¼ cup of either fruit mixture into the bottom of a glass. Top with the milkshake. Repeat with remaining fruit and milkshake.

  7. Garnish milkshakes with fresh fruit, and serve immediately.
