How To Make Vanilla Cabinets with Fresh Fruit

- 6ozraspberries
- 4ozstrawberries
- 5ozwhole cherries,pitted
- 3½tspfresh lemon juice
- ½cupsugar
- 16ozblueberries
- 8cupsvanilla ice cream
- ½cupwhole milk
- 1¼tsppure vanilla extract

Combine raspberries, strawberries, cherries, 1½ teaspoons of lemon juice, and ¼ cup of sugar in a small saucepan

Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 10 minutes until berries release their juices.

Transfer to a bowl, and refrigerate until cold.

Combine remaining lemon juice and sugar with 2 cups blueberries in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about about 10 minutes until berries release their juices.

Transfer to a bowl. Let cool completely. Stir in the remaining blueberries, cover, and refrigerate until cold.

Whisk ice cream, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Spoon ¼ cup of either fruit mixture into the bottom of a glass. Top with the milkshake. Repeat with remaining fruit and milkshake.

Garnish milkshakes with fresh fruit, and serve immediately.
