How To Make Tropical Breakfast Shake

Start the day with a taste of the tropics with this thick breakfast shake. It has bananas, pineapples, yogurt, and a splash of orange juice.

Ingredients

  • 1large banana,peeled
  • ½cuporange juice
  • 6ozraspberry yogurt,or any kind of yogurt
  • ½tsptruvia,or another sweetener
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 1cuppineapple chunks,frozen
  • unsweetened coconut flakes,optional

Instructions

  1. Peel a large and very ripe banana. Cut the banana into coins and place the coins on a tray in the freezer. After about an hour, transfer the banana coins into a resealable bag until ready to use.

  2. In a blender or large food processor, combine the banana, orange juice, yogurt, truvia, and vanilla extract.

  3. Pulse for about 10 to 15 seconds.

  4. Add in the frozen pineapple. Blend until completely smooth and no chunks remain.

  5. If desired, garnish with unsweetened coconut flakes
