How To Make Cashew Milk

This vegan-friendly cashew milk tastes just as good as the store-bought ones! Recreate this delicious milk drink in just five minutes.

  • 1cupraw cashews
  • 4cupswaterdivided
  • 2tbspmaple syrupor honey or agave nectar
  • 2tspvanilla extract
  • dashsea salt
  • pinchcinnamonoptional


  1. Soak the cashews in water for at least 4 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. Drain the cashews and rinse until the water runs clear.

  3. Add the cashews and 2 cups of water to a blender.

  4. Start on a low setting, then increase the speed until the cashews are pulverized.

  5. Add in 2 cups of water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt and cinnamon into the blender.

  6. Blend until combined.

  7. Serve, and enjoy!
