How To Make Peanut Butter Frosting

A decadent peanut butter frosting, which goes exceptionally well with chocolate cakes.

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter , softened, or margarine
  • 2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 6 tsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


  1. In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat peanut butter and butter (or margarine) until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually beat in sugar, alternately with milk until frosting is a good spreading consistency.
  3. Beat in vanilla extract.
  4. This makes enough frosting to frost one 13x9x2-inch cake.
