How To Make Prune Whip

A wonderful and easy recipe for prune whip that would surely be a crowd pleaser! Incredibly light and fluffy, yet it can hold its own and be a light dessert on its own, or you can opt to top this onto your bare cupcakes for a delightful frosting.

  • 4 egg whites
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups prune juice
  1. Add sugar to prune puree and cook 5 minutes.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Add prune mixture gradually.
  4. Add lemon juice.
  5. Pour into buttered pudding dish and bake 30 minutes in slow 325-degree F oven.

  6. Serve cold.
