Layered Vanilla Pudding Cake with Berry-Filled Jello Topping Recipe

With a delicious berry-filled jello topping, this layered pudding cake recipe will be an excellent addition to your holiday menu. Feel free to serve with a cup of hot chocolate.

How To Make Layered Vanilla Pudding Cake with Berry-Filled Jello Topping

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 1 box strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
  1. Set oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine cake mix with egg whites, water and butter. Mix well.

  2. Pour into 2 greased round 9-inch pans. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Let it cool for 30 minutes.

  3. In the meantime, prepare jello according to package directions. As soon as gelatin thickens, mix in strawberries.

  4. Return jello inside fridge for at least 4 hours. Add pudding on the bottom cake and also place top cake layer on top. Once gelatin is ready, spread jello on cake and serve.
