How To Make Egg Cheese

You can never go wrong with a good recipe for scrambled egg cheese. This six-ingredient recipe has cheddar, ham, and green onions in one delicious dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • ½ cup milk, (125 ml)
  • tsp salt, (0.5 ml)
  • 1 cup light cheddar, (250 ml), , swiss or monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup ham, (125 ml), chopped
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese and ham.
  2. Spray large non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Pour in egg mixture and immediately reduce heat to medium. As mixture begins to set, gently move spatula across bottom and side of skillet to form large, soft curds. Cook until eggs are thickened and no visible liquid egg remains.
  4. Sprinkle green onion over top.
