How To Make Orange-Glazed Chicken Wings

Baked for a healthier bite, these glazed chicken wings are coated with orange juice and soy sauce for a citrusy rendition of the classic chicken dish.

Ingredients

  • 1cupfresh orange juice,(about 2 oranges)
  • 2tbsporange zest,(about 3 oranges), grated
  • 6clovesgarlic,minced
  • ¼cupsoy sauce
  • 1tbspbrown sugar
  • tspsalt
  • ½tspfresh ground black pepper
  • 4lbschicken wings

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine the orange juice with the orange zest, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat.

  2. On 2 large baking sheets, arrange the wings in a single layer. Reserve ¼ cup of the orange mixture and spoon the rest of the mixture over the wings.

  3. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn the wings over and baste them with the reserved orange mixture. Cook for about 10 minutes longer until just done.

  4. Serve and enjoy.
