If you love barbecue, you’ll love this recipe for barbecue crockpot ribs! The spice rub is inspired by the flavors of Kansas City and is also good on chicken and pork.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups barbecue sauce, preferably Kansas City-Style
  • 2 lb baby back ribs, or spare ribs, trimmed
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For Serving:

  • 5 oz french fries
  • 5 oz asparagus, grilled

Instructions

  1. Mix barbecue sauce, oil, and broth in a mixing bowl.

  2. Pour the mixture into the crockpot and place the ribs, make sure it's all coated with the sauce, cover, and cook for 6 hours.

  3. Once done, serve hot together with french fries, grilled asparagus, and remaining sauce.
