- 3 oz red onion, chopped

- 15 oz tomato sauce, (1 can)
- 6 oz tomato paste, (1 can)
- 1½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated or powdered
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 12 oz ricotta cheese
- 4 oz lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 12 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For Garnish:
- 1 basil leaf

In a skillet, saute onions and brown ground beef in oil over medium heat.
