- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a tart pan or a pie dish.

In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, treacle, melted butter, ground cinnamon, sugar, flour, and lemon juice. Toss until the apples are well coated.
-
Arrange the apple mixture evenly over the pastry in the pan.
-
Bake the tart for 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the pastry is golden brown.
-
Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
