Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of pre-made puff pastry
  • 12 garlic prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 12 asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares.

  3. Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  5. Add the garlic prawns and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  6. Remove the prawns from the skillet and set aside.

  7. Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until bright green and slightly tender.

  8. Season with salt and pepper.

  9. Divide the prawns and asparagus evenly among the puff pastry squares, placing them in the center.

  10. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling to create a tartlet shape.

  11. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.

  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is golden and crispy.

  13. Serve hot and enjoy!
