Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 1 courgette, thinly sliced
  • 100g cooked ham, diced
  • 150g ricotta cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal rectangles. Place them on a lined baking sheet.

  3. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese onto each rectangle, leaving a border around the edges.

  4. Top the ricotta with sliced courgette and diced ham. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the courgette is cooked.

  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
