Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of custard
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.

  3. Arrange the apple slices in a rose pattern on top of the pastry.

  4. Pour the custard over the apples, making sure the entire tart is covered.

  5. Sprinkle the sugar over the top of the tart.

  6. Brush the melted butter around the edges of the pastry.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

  8. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving.
