Buttermilk Coconut Pie Recipe

How To Make Buttermilk Coconut Pie

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 pkg coconut flakes (large package)
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 pie shells (unbaked )
  1. In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs.

  2. Gradually add sugar, buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and coconut flakes. Combine ingredients.

  3. Place pie shells on baking pans for pies before pouring in your mixture. Sprinkle a bit of coconut at the top of each pie.

  4. Bake at 300° for about an hour.

  5. Serve while hot.
