Ingredients

- 4 tbsp. flour
- ¼ cup sugar

- 1 cup milk, scalded
- 4 eggs
Instructions

Melt butter in a small saucepan, add flour and hot milk gradually.
- When thick, pour over yolks of eggs beaten until thick and lemon colored.
- Add salt, sugar.
- Cool and fold in whites of eggs beaten stiff and dry.
- Turn into buttered pudding dish and bake from 30-35 minutes in slow 325-degree oven.
- Serve at once.
- Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving and add whipped cream, if desired.
