How To Make Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 4 tbsp of creamy peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Maple syrup, for serving


  1. Spread peanut butter on four slices of bread. Top with sliced bananas and cover with remaining four slices of bread.

  2. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

  3. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  5. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  6. Remove from skillet and serve with maple syrup.
