Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Shape the mixture into patties of desired size.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  4. Fry the carrot patties until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

  6. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
