
How To Make Vegan Halloween Candy Apples

Ingredients
- 4 medium Granny Smith apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red food coloring (optional)
Instructions

Wash and dry apples, insert wooden skewers in the top of each apple.

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and apple cider vinegar.

Cook until mixture reaches 300°F or hard crack stage.

Remove from heat and stir in red food coloring (optional).

Dip each apple in the candy mixture, coating evenly. Let excess candy drip off before placing on parchment paper to cool.
