How To Make Fluffy Whole Wheat Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2cupswhole wheat flour,spoon and leveled
  • 3tspbaking powder
  • ½tspground cinnamon
  • ¼tspsalt
  • 2large eggs,room temperature
  • 6tbspunsalted butter,melted, slightly cooled
  • 2tbspbrown sugar
  • cupsbuttermilk
  • 1tsppure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker on medium-high heat.

  2. Whisk the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a large bowl.

  3. Whisk the eggs, butter, brown sugar, buttermilk, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until combined. Pour into the dry ingredients and whisk until combined and no large lumps remain.

  4. Pour ⅓ cup of the batter into each well of the waffle maker and close the lid. Cook the waffles until golden brown and crisp for 5 to 6 minutes.

  5. Serve warm waffles with favorite toppings, and enjoy!
