How To Make Breakfast Waffles 2-Ways
You can never go wrong with soft breakfast waffles for a filling dish! Try these sweet waffles made from scratch and prepared mix for a mouthwatering bite.

For Prepared Mix:
- 2cupswaffle mix
- 1⅓cupsmilk
- 1large egg
- 2tbspvegetable oil
For Scratch:
- 2cupsall-purpose flour
- 2tbspgranulated sugar
- ½tspbaking powder
- ½tspbaking soda
- 1tspkosher salt
- 2large eggs
- 8tbspunsalted butter
- 2cupsbuttermilk
For Toppings:
- 4tbspmaple syrup
- 8tbspWhipped cream
- 1cupmixed berries
- 4tspsprinkles
Instructions

Preheat a waffle iron to medium-high heat. Grease with nonstick spray.
Prepared Mix:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the waffle mix, milk, egg, and vegetable oil until fully incorporated.

Add 1 cup of waffle batter to the center of the waffle iron. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the waffle is golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
Scratch:

In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and buttermilk. Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully combined.

Add 1 cup of waffle batter to the center of the waffle iron. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the waffle is golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.
