  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

  3. Pour half of the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to coat the bottom evenly.

  4. Cook the eggs for 2-3 minutes, until the edges start to set.

  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese and crushed potato chips evenly over one half of the omelette.

  6. Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the filling using a spatula. Cook for another minute until the cheese is melted.

  7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut it in half. Repeat the same process with the remaining ingredients to make another omelette.
