Everyone, whether young or old, will love this Western omelet recipe. Cook it in a crockpot to let the flavors meld together even more.
Western Omelet Recipe
- 32 oz hash brown potatoes frozen
- 10 oz lean ham cubed
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 14 eggs
- 1 ½ tsp salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper to taste
In a 4-5 quart crockpot, layer in the following order: 1/3 each of hash browns, ham, onion and cheese. Repeat layers 2 times.
Beat together milk, eggs, salt and pepper.
Pour over the layers in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours before serving.
