How To Make Loaded Caramel Dipped Pretzels

These caramel dipped pretzels have the impeccable combination of salty crunch and gooey homemade caramel with crushed chocolates atop that kids will love!

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Cool and Set Time: 35 minutes
Total: 55 minutes

  • 1cupsalted caramel
  • 18large pretzel rods
  • 2cupsassorted toppings, crushed M&Ms, nuts, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, Heath bar, etc

  1. Place each topped into separate bowls.

  2. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.

  3. Hold each pretzel rod by one end and dip the pretzel into the caramel, swirling it around to get it coated well. Shake off any excess caramel.

  4. Immediately sprinkle toppings onto the pretzel, twirling the pretzel to get all sides covered. Do this over a plate to catch any extras.

  5. Place pretzels onto a prepared baking sheet to allow the caramel to set for about 15 minutes; rotating them every 2 minutes so they didn’t end up with a completely flat side.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
