Cranberry BBQ Sauce Recipe

We switched up our holiday meal this year by smoking a turkey and topping it with this cranberry bbq sauce!

How To Make Cranberry BBQ Sauce

A special recipe that will give a twist on your normal cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving.

  • 14 oz ketchup
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • ½ large sweet onion (minced)
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce ( jelled )
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • ½ tsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper
  1. Place all ingredients in a heavy non-reactive saucepan and slowly bring to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Stir to mix and break down the cranberry jelly.

  3. Simmer and stir until thick for about 15 minutes.

  4. You can bottle it up and it will keep for a few months or use it right away.

  5. You can also double this recipe!
