
How To Make Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Season the pork chops with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook over medium heat until they are caramelized and golden brown, about 10 minutes.

Stir in the brown sugar until it melts and coats the onions.

Return the pork chops to the skillet, nestling them among the onions. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
