This is a fan-favorite recipe from Taco Bell. This burritos recipe includes thinly-sliced steak in a salsa combined with cheese and fresh vegetables. Top it off with sour cream for some extra tang.

How To Make Copycat Taco Bell Everyone’s Favorite Burritos

  • 2 lb. steak (sliced)
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • ½ jar salsa
  • 16 oz. refried beans
  • 8 flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • ½ cup enchilada sauce
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded )
  • 2 cups lettuce (shredded )
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • ½ cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
  1. Cook sliced steak by package directions. Add the seasoning packet and follow the directions to prepare taco meat.

  2. Stir in the salsa and let simmer until the sauce has a slight thickness to it.

  3. Heat up the refried beans in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Lay out each tortilla and spreading ¼ cup of refried beans on the bottom of each tortilla.

  5. Spoon a small amount of the meat on top of the beans and drizzle enchilada sauce over the meat.

  6. Sprinkle some cheese on top of the meat and beans, then about two pinches of shredded lettuce next.

  7. Spoon a small amount of sour cream on top of each burrito. Sprinkle over with some of the tomato and onion.

  8. Fold the end of the tortilla closest to you over the filling. Fold the left and right side in towards the filling. Close it up by folding the top edge over the filling.

  9. Repeat this process for each tortilla and serve immediately.
