Guacamole is a staple when it comes to Mexican cuisine. But aside from burritos, chips, tacos, quesadillas, and nachos, it is also great with vegetables, eggs, and toast. Its fresh and raw avocado flavor elevates a dish without being too overpowering. Try it out with this Chilis chicken bacon ranch quesadilla copycat!

Your usual guacamole recipe, but with a bit of spice.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 avocados, peeled, pitted, and roughly chopped, or 10 oz frozen avocado chunks
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For Garnish:

  • ¼ tsp paprika, per serving

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and puree until smooth.
  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Adjust accordingly.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with paprika and serve with tortilla or nacho chips.
