Ingredients

  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup bacon, sliced
  • 2 cups brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • cups chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • oz red onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp chili flakes
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For Garnish:

  • ¼ tsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine all your ingredients in the crockpot.
  2. Cover, set the crockpot on high, and let it cook for 3 hours.
  3. Adjust seasoning with salt & pepper.
  4. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
