How To Make Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and milk until smooth.

Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Top with half of the sliced onions and half of the shredded cheese.

Pour half of the milk and flour mixture over the potatoes.

Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, cheese, and milk mixture.

Place the browned pork chops on top of the potato mixture.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the pork chops are cooked through.
