How To Make Pork Chops And Creamy Spinach
Delicious, savory, and creamy, these pork chops are stuffed with spinach mixed with cream cheese, pan-seared, then oven-baked for a more flavorful dish!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Heat the olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for about 2 minutes until translucent.
Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
Add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.
Make a slit on the side of each pork chop to make a pocket, but do not cut all the way through.
Fill the pork chops with the spinach mixture. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Working in batches, sear the pork chops until golden brown on both sides. Transfer to a baking sheet.
Bake the pork chops for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve the pork chops with mashed potatoes.
